Abkhaz Bridge in Russian Response

The capital of the Russian Federation- Moscow hosts representatives of the Abkhaz Diaspora living in Turkey these days:  Parliament deputy of Turkish Republic Engin Taskuach-ipa Papba and Chairman of Abkhaz cultural centers Federation Ahmet Hapat. Our compatriots arrived to Moscow at the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal Council. They took part in the TV program of the journalist Andret  Afanasyev  "Russian response" on Tsargrad Channel. The program topic "Abkhaz Bridge" was related to Russian-Turkish relations.

Engin Taskuach-ipa Papba, Member of the Parliament of the Turkish Republic:

"The Abkhaz Diaspora in Turkey is one of the dynamically growing. It plays a significant role in Turkish society. After events that took place between Moscow and Ankara a year ago, our diaspora was the first one who supported relationship between two sides, and it is ready to become the first negotiators in this conflict. Immediately after the crisis began, the number of deputies from Abkhaz Diaspora arrived to Moscow and, wherever possible, negotiated with the official and unofficial structures in order to establish relations at the highest level. The fact that not only the people of Abkhazia, but the whole Abkhaz Diaspora living in Turkey knows and understands that only Russia has rendered assistance when we needed it. Knowing this, the Abkhaz Diaspora in Turkey advocated for normalization of relations between Ankara and Moscow. "

Hapat Ahmed, chairman of Abkhaz cultural centers Federation:

"Turkish Abkhaz Federation, which exists in our country, is focused not only on support of the Turkish state, but also aid from Russian side, because Russia has direct relationship with the Republic of Abkhazia. Moreover, many people in Abkhazia have Russian passports, and for Abkhazians living in Turkey, Russia is a "guiding star" they are looking at and will achieve recognition of independence from Turkey. Abkhazia is a link, a bridge between Turkey and Russia, through which relations between two countries will only improve. We are ready to be the bridge which will be crossed by people of Russia and Turkey in order to reach understanding and elimination of negative factors that still exist. "

Andrey Afanasyev, journalist of Tsargrad Chanel:

"Hopefully, Abkhazians, who live in Abkhazia and Caucasus, and the huge diaspora living in Turkey, will be able to influence relations between two countries and will lead to peace and understanding, all the more  now both Russia and Turkey together decide very important issues and problems in Syria.
