The Abkhaz delegation paid a visit to Jordan.

The Abkhaz delegation consisting of: President of the "International Fund Apsny"-Sener Gogua, member of "International Fund Apsny"  - Janna Leyba, representative of  "International Fund Apsny" in Turkey Jengiz Ashuba , Director of the state investment agency under the Ministry of Economy-Almas Tania, Parliament deputy of the 4th convocation  - Vitaly Smir , Member of Public Chamber-Nizam Hapat , Entrepreneur-Dmitry Argun and Parliament deputy of the 4th convocation  - Beslan Jopua paid a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 12 to 17 January 2017.

A number of important meetings with entrepreneurs, as well as Abkhaz-Adyga diaspora representatives were held on January 12.

Issues of trade cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchange of experience in development of agriculture were discussed at the meeting with the Fruit and Vegetables Exporters Association. «Despite its climatic features, Jordan is actively developing agriculture and we have a lot to learn," - said Beslan Jopua.

Fruit and Vegetables Exporters Association is one of the richest in the world, as it works far beyond Jordan, covering a large international market.

Association members were provided information on agricultural and tourism potential of Abkhazia; in particular, Almas Tania shared full information about economy and investment laws of Abkhazia. The potential and benefits of investing to Abkhazia and the proximity to the Russian market has also become the subject of a more detailed discussion.

In turn, representatives of Fruit and Vegetables Exporters Association have been astounded by prospects and beauty of Abkhazia and expressed their intention to visit our country in the near future.

"Jordan is important for us not only as an economic partner, but also as a reliable friend - a country that has become a home to thousands of our compatriots," - stressed Sener Gogua.

Issues of development of trade cooperation between the sides were also discussed at the meeting with the Jordanian Exporters Association.

Attracting investments to Abkhazia were the subject of a meeting with the Jordanian Investment Promotion Council. "Jordan is actively developing investments in trade, information and financial sector, being one of the fastest growing states in the Middle East region. We are interested in exploring your experience and also attract investments from Jordan to Abkhazia "- said Sener Gogua, welcoming the Chairman of the Board.

As part of the first working day, there were two more meetings in the Club of New Cherkess Generation, as well as the Council of Cherkess Elders. "It is important to note how much our community in Jordan care about preservation and transmission of culture to younger generation. There are clubs for youth education. And there are possibilities to preserve and develop our culture, far from the motherland. It is the great merit of the country's leadership, which creates favorable conditions for preservation and interaction of all cultures and peoples living in this beautiful country "- said Sener Gogua, welcoming the head of the Council of Cherkess Elders in Jordan.
