Boarding school in Sukhum, Ochamchira and village Caldahuara provided with humanitarian assistance

In the direction of its activities to support the educational institutions of Abkhazia, the NGO "The International Fund Apsny" handed over to the boarding schools of the city of Sukhum, Ochamchira, and the village Kaldahuara 500 sets of bed linen, of which 200 pieces for each boarding school in Sukhum and Ochamchira, and 100 pcs. for boarding of Caldahuara village. This assistance was possible due to the Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey, namely, a group of our compatriots headed by Ilkhan Kuadzba.

"The International Fund Apsny" pays special attention to the issues of culture and education receiving constant support receives from our compatriots in Turkey. This is not the first joint project of the foundation with the Abkhaz cultural center headed by Ilkhan Kuadzba. Not so long ago warm blankets were purchased for these boarding schools, and other projects were also implemented, " - said Oktay Chkotua, a member of the board of the foundation.

As the directors of boarding schools note, boarding schools are special educational institutions where children are around the clock, respectively, it is necessary for them to create comfortable conditions during after-hours stay.

"Representatives of the “International Fund Apsny” often visit our boarding school, are interested in our problems and provide assistance, and this support is invaluable for our pupils and teachers," - the director of the Ochamchira boarding school, Lora Mikaa, added.

The staff of the foundation assured the management of the boarding schools that they plan to render further assistance to these institutions and look for opportunities for this.
