Today, on the eve of the New Year holidays, the gifts were presented to disabled veterans of the Patriotic War of 1992-93 at the Glory Museum named after Vladislav Ardzinba in Sukhum.
The Abkhazian State Museum holds a special place in the preservation and development of our culture. Over the past 100 years, the museum managed to preserve the historical heritage, to convey it to descendants, because the present without the past is unthinkable. I would like to particularly note the long, laborious work of the staff of the museum, which carefully preserves the exhibits of the museum. Scientific activity of the institution is of particular interest, the museum also holds exhibitions and other cultural events.

The female vocal-instrumental ensemble "Gunda" holds special place in our national culture.
Great achievements of the ensemble "Gunda" in the preservation of the traditions and culture of our people, the development of its musical art and the revival of ancient folk songs. Thanks to the great creative energy and bright talent of the artistic director Rosa Chamagua and the artists, the ensemble was recognized and won the love of grateful audience.
These days, the World Congress of the Abkhaz-Abaza people is held in Sukhum. The first Congress took place in December 1992 in the village of Lykhny, where the creation of the World Association of the Abaza people was announced.
The first President of Abkhazia, Vladislav Ardzinba, mobilized at that time not only all the people living in Abkhazia, but also all compatriots abroad. Thanks in large part to the World Congress, our people, faced with the threat of total extermination, were able to unite all forces and win in that war.
President of the NGO "International Fund of Apsny" Sener Gogua gave an interview in the program "Good morning Abkhazia" at Abkhaz State TV. In his interview, he told about the trip to Jordan, which was the result of the three-year work of the foundation in this direction. He also dwelt at length on the goals and objectives of the newly established Association of Non-profit Organizations of Abkhazia.
The visit of the delegation of the “International Fund of Apsny” to Jordan continues. Within the framework of the "investment mission" the "International Fund of Apsny" held meetings with representatives of the Jordanian businesses.
These days, a delegation of the "International Fund of Apsny" headed by Sener Gogua is in Jordan. Delegation consisting of vice president of the fund Maxim Gvindjia, head of the committee of youth policy and deputy director of the Investment Agency under the Ministry of Economy Simon Agrba and a businessman Dmitry Argun.
The purpose of the delegation's visit is to participate in the Economic Forum held in Amman. The forum and the program of visit is organized by the Representative of our foundation Mr. Yinal Khath as well as our partner NGO, TV company Nart-TV and NGO “Kuban”.
The large family of Zhiba Kumachi and Marholia Yuli lives in the village of Mgudzyrhua, Gudauta district, in the most remote, high-mountain part of it. Kumachi and Yulia bring up 11 children: Daut, Said, Rada, Daur, Hamida, Sabina, Dmitry, Salima, Danil, Demo and Astamur. Older children have already graduated from school and are studying and working, five younger are the schoolchildren and there is a preschool child of 6 years old.
Yulia's mother applied for our project and their application was registered in the framework of the Apeipsh project.
Yesterday the first working meeting of the before registered "Association of Non-Profit Organizations of Abkhazia" took place. This Association includes 14 non-profit organizations.
By the decision of the General Assembly Mr. Sener Gogua the President of the "International Fund of Apsny" was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Association.
This project was organized by the Abkhaz State TV and Radio Company with the support of the Government of the Republic, as well as the " International Found Apsny". The project is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the People's Writer of Abkhazia Bagrat Shinkuba. The project is presented as series of television programs in which famous people in the country and abroad: writers, politicians, artists, actors and just admirers of Bagrat Shinkuba’s art read his immortal novel "The Last of those gone".
Today, together with our partners, the “Biopharma” company from Rostov, Russia, we conducted a charitable action to render assistance to the Children's Rehabilitation Centers in Sukhum, Ochamchyra, Gal and Tkuarchal. Household and medical equipment, sports simulators, food, air conditioning and computer hardware was presented to centers.
From 1 to 2 November 2017, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of the repatriation of the Abkhaz-Abaza people" is held. Delegates from Abkhazia, Russia, Syria and Turkey gathered in the hall of the State Repatriation Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The conference was attended by the President of the Foundation Mr. Sener Gogua and the chairman of the Apsuara Committee Oktay Chkotua.
Recently, the President of the "International Fund of Apsny" Mr. Sener Gogua and the director of the Abkhaz Institute of Humanitarian Studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Abkhazia named after D. Gulia Mr. Arda Ashuba signed the Cooperation Agreement.
In frames of this agreement, the "International Fund of Apsny" undertook obligations to repair the historical branch of the Institute.
Good news came today - The deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey, Abkhazian by origin, Engin Papba, was elected the head of the Republican People's Party of the Republic of Turkey in the Parliament of Turkey.
Awarded with the Order of “Akhdz Apsha” of the second degree, political and public figure Engin Papba, has all the opportunities to promote the name of his historic homeland Abkhazia. He has already played an important role in the history of our state, people and diaspora, contributing to the development of relations between our compatriots and the Motherland.
Today, Vice President of the “International Fund of Apsny” Maxim Gvindzhia took part in the festivities dedicated to the Pitsunda’s City Day. Pitsunda is truly a pearl of Abkhazia. One of the most ancient cities of the Black Sea, Pitsunda has always been the center of concentration not only of tourism, but also spiritual and cultural life of Abkhazia.
Numerous guests of the event, local residents, clergy, the country's leadership and tourists took part in the opening of the monument to Tamara Gitsba, who in 1959 led the construction of the resort Pitsunda.

The V International Art - plein air "Colors of Autumn of Abkhazia 2017" was opened at the the Central Exhibition Hall in Sukhum today. This Art plein air, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Abkhaz State University, was held from 10 to 17 October.

In Jordan’s capital, Amman, a festive event was held with the participation of our diaspora in honor of the Victory Day of the people of Abkhazia in the Patriotic War of 1992-93. It was organized by the "International Fund Apsny" and the local television and radio company "Nart-TV".
This is the first joint project organized in the framework of the cooperation agreement signed during the visit of the leadership of the Nart-TV to Abkhazia. The event was opened with a greeting in the Abkhaz language by our colleague Johanna Leiba.

Yuri Vouba from Dranda is veteran of the Patriotic War of Abkhazia 1992-93, awarded with the medal "For Courage" and is the head of a large family. Yuri Vouba and his wife Oksana Tsvizhba raise four children: the elder is in the 9th grade, the youngest is three years old.
The project "Ani Amalayki" continues its work! Every day in the office of the "International Fund Apsny" Abkhaz families are waiting for our branded packages with gifts for newborns. Since the beginning of 2017, it is already 607 kids, who have received their gifts and to our great joy, every day this figure is growing.
The gift are presented upon the submission of the birth certificate of a baby whose age should not be older than 6 months. Both parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles can apply for a gift.
In partnership with the TV and radio company Nart TV, the organization "Kuban", the "International Fund of Apsny" organizes a festive concert for our Diaspora in Jordan. The event, which will bring together more than two thousand people, will be held on September 30 at 20:00.
The "International Fund Apsny" has supported the project of the Sukhum Youth House (SDU) "career guidance center for children and young people", which is headed by psychologist, head of section of personal growth (SDU) Khatuna Logua. Today, on the August 25th, The Hero City Tkuarchal celebrates its anniversary. These festive events were visited by Maxim Gvindzhia, Vice President of the “International Fund of Apsny”.
Our foundation has always supported Tkaurcal. Thus, our help was rendered to: Tkuarchal Technical college, kindergartens, City administration, maternity hospital, and many poor families from Tkuarchal became our beneficiaries as well.

It is a hectic time for the preparation of school-age children for the new school year, especially for families with many children, where three or more kids are going to school; it is also a financially difficult period.
For low-income families, by the beginning of the academic year, the "International Fund of Apsny" carried out the project "Agurazra", in accordance with which it provided financial support to the parents of schoolchildren by purchasing clothes and stationery.
An Assembly of the representatives of public organizations of the Republic of Abkhazia was held in the conference hall of the Atrium-Victoria Hotel today. The purpose of this event is the aspiration of non-governmental organizations to consolidate their actions in the field of humanitarian, social and cultural projects aimed at development of our society and addressing the problems of vulnarable layers of population.
According to the program of the visit by Armenian doctors the children in Ochamchira Tquarchal and Gal were medically checked at the Rehabilitation Center of Ochamchira. The examination was carried out by an orthopedist, neurologist and pediatrician, accompanied by a representative of the fund, Julia Gumba.
For one day doctors from Armenia managed to conduct a medical examination of more than 30 children with different ailments. Parents of children who have been diagnosed with pathology, made appointments and were given recommendations for treatment.
By the invitation of the "International Fund Apsny" the pediatrics expersts from Armenia visited Abkhazia. It is a third visit of the doctors from Armenia in frames of the Fund's project named "Aguabziara" (Health). In the first two days of theirs stay in Abkhazia, on August 14 and 15 in Sukhumi City Polyclinic, the doctors will receive children, mostly diagnosed with cerebral palsy, then on August 16 in the Ochamchira Rehabilitation Center for those children living in Ochamchira, Tkuarchal and Gal districts.
The "International Fund Apsny" together with the "Association of boarding houses of the resort Pitsunda" organized an excursion to Pitsunda for children with disabilities.Children from Rehabilitation centers of Sukhum, Ochamchira, Tkuarchal and Gal accompanied by parents and staff of the Rehabilitation centers. This is the second trip for children with disabilities organized by the "International Fund Apsny".
Today, the head of the "International Fund Apsny" Sener Gogua with Asida Inapshba and Sirma Ashuba arrived in the village Atar of Ochamchira district to the family of Amiran Kvitsiniya. The Kvitsiniya family suffered a misfortune at the beginning of the current year. Due to the short circuit in the wiring the house completely burned. As a result four children, their father, mother and grandmother were left without a roof. At the moment, a large family lives in a non-residential house temporarily provided by a relative.
We are all shocked by what happened in Gudauta district. Explosion in a warehouse with ammunition of the Ministry of Defense.Two Russian tourists were killed by this explosion and more than 50 people were injured.
The "International Fund Apsny" expresses condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.

Today the office of the "International Fund Apsny" was visited for the second time by a young family Guniya for the "Mother and Child" project. Rustam Guniya who is the father of the family came a year ago and received from us a gift set for his first-born. He promised to come again. The promise was fulfilled and today a small Amelie Gunia received her gift set.

At the invitation of the "International Fund Apsny" the Republic of Abkhazia was visited by Feigen Ashkharua and Yasemin Otyrba our compatriots from Turkey who are also specialists in the field of education . Figen Ashkharua is the manager of the language school in the city of Adapazar and Yasemin Otrba is a doctor of pedagogical sciences at the Istanbul State University.
A delegation from Abkhazia visited the Caucasus Cultural Center in Ankara where it met with the Circassian Diaspora. The participants were acquainted with the activities of the Foundation as well as with the work of the committees. Participants of the delegation brought with them printed materials about the fund: magazines, brochures, disks, which were handed over to the center.
During the meeting the issues of cultural interaction, development and strengthening of ties between the Circassian Diaspora and Abkhazia were also discussed.
Today, a delegation from Abkhazia was received in the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey where a meeting with the deputy Engin Taskuach was held. He welcomed the Abkhazian delegation and noted his love for Abkhazia which is his historical homeland. He also expresed the hope that recognition of Abkhazia by the world community will take its further development.
