The wards of the "International Fund Apsnн" and the Cultural-Charitable Foundation Ashana, Amir Jigayev and Amina Bigvava, went to continue the course of treatment in Armenia, today.

It is not a first time for Amir and Amina to undergo a course of treatment and rehabilitation in Armenia and they are already making great strides on their way to life without barriers. The positive dynamics and effectiveness of the treatment of children inspire confidence and hope for their parents.

Today, the “International Fund of Apsny” and llc "Biopharma" from Rostov, held another charity. As part of its activities aimed at supporting rehabilitation centers in Abkhazia, the "International Fund Apsny", together with its partner, LLC "Biopharma" brought household chemicals, diapers, warm blankets and baby food to the center.

The management of the Rehabilitation Center expressed gratitude to the Foundation and Biofarma for its support, which, as noted by the Director of the Center, Mr. Lasha Papava, "proved to be timely and very necessary for the work of the Center".

Today, together with our partners, the “Biopharma” company from Rostov, Russia, we conducted a charitable action to render assistance to the Children's Rehabilitation Centers in Sukhum, Ochamchyra, Gal and Tkuarchal. Household and medical equipment, sports simulators, food, air conditioning and computer hardware was presented to centers.

Within the framework of the project to support children with disabilities, the "International Fund of Apsny" has transferred another set of household chemicals and hygiene to the Sukhum Republican Rehabilitation Center.

According to the program of the visit by Armenian doctors the children in Ochamchira Tquarchal and Gal were medically checked at the Rehabilitation Center of Ochamchira. The examination was carried out by an orthopedist, neurologist and pediatrician, accompanied by a representative of the fund, Julia Gumba.

For one day doctors from Armenia managed to conduct a medical examination of more than 30 children with different ailments. Parents of children who have been diagnosed with pathology, made appointments and were given recommendations for treatment.

By the invitation of the "International Fund Apsny" the pediatrics expersts from Armenia visited Abkhazia. It is a third visit of the doctors from Armenia in frames of the Fund's project named "Aguabziara" (Health). In the first two days of theirs stay in Abkhazia, on August 14 and 15 in Sukhumi City Polyclinic, the doctors will receive children, mostly diagnosed with cerebral palsy, then on August 16 in the Ochamchira Rehabilitation Center for those children living in Ochamchira, Tkuarchal and Gal districts.

Within the framework of our project "Agubziara" the "International Fund Apsny" regularly provides material support to the rehabilitation centers of the republic for children with disabilities. The Tkuarchal Rehabilitation Center has asked for 100 thousand rubbles  for the purchase of the car.

 

 

Today, our Foundation transferred 100,000 rubles to the account of the Ashana Foundation for the treatment of seven-year-old Yalsa Alhorba with a diagnosis of delayed psycho-speech development. The money is necessary for a small Yalsa for examination and treatment in the Scientific and Practical Center for Child Neurology in Moscow.

The "International Fund of Apsny" held a meeting with parents of children who were operated in Yerevan clinic in July 2016. The childrens' treatment  became possible thanks to the joint project of the "International Fund of Apsny" and the Cultural and Charitable Foundation "Ashana".

Parents  thanked our fundation and confirmed that children  improved a lot after the operation. Chkotua Azamat, who was operated on and put the orthoses began to walk better.

On 27th of February, Public organization  "International Fund Apsny" and Cultural Charitable Foundation "Ashana" sent children with cerebral palsy to Armenia for surgery and further treatment.
