The “International Fund Apsny” has organized another video project dedicated to Abkhazia. With this video, we wanted to show the beauty of Abkhazia and recall that we have great potential to solve pressing problems, the main thing is to believe in ourselves and our future.

This project is not political - it is more a positive moment in the information field of Abkhazia. We urge you all to believe in yourself and your strength.

Bebiya Tina Kachovna lives in the mountainous village Khuap of Gudauta district. Tina Kachovna was born in 1905, she is 111 years old. At her respectful age, Tina Kachovna is grunted with good health, always in good spirits, moreover, she says should she have wings, she would fly up to the sky.

A new project has been launched in the educational center "Academy" with the support of “International Fund Apsny": free Abkhaz language courses.

"These project will help us to improve the situation with language, spread, preserve and develop it," - said the President of "International Fund Apsny" Sener Gogua.

Courses provoked a great interest among young people and adults. In the future, our Fund is planning to implement a number of other projects to develop Abkhaz language.

The hero of Abkhazia-Apollon Shinkuba is a well-known person in Abkhazia. People listen to his words, his opinion is respected, and his contribution to the national liberation movement of our people is immeasurable. All his life, Apollon was taking up military and government posts; today he is active in social activities.

Abkhazians say "Those who have no senior elders – have no God" and they wish longevity in Abkhazian language, that is why the "International Fund of Apsny" could not ignore such an event as the centenary of our compatriot Ilya Dochia, who lives in the village of Babushera of the Gulrysh district. Representatives of the "International Fund of Apsny" Nugzar Logua, Oktay Chkotua, Demyan Gogua and Medzhit Gogua came to him with gifts from the fund. The jubilant did not hide his confusion and joy.

The public organization "International Fund Apsny " launches a new project "The Abkhaz centenarians", within the framework of which representatives of the Fund: Secretary General Inapshba Asida, head of Apsuara committee Oktay Chkotua and representative of the Fund in Ochamchira district Demian Gogua visited Tarba family in Myku village with gifts for the most honorable member of this Abkhaz family- Nutsa Dumaa.

Why do we need statehood? We need it in order to preserve the independence of our country, our nation, culture and language. Wealth can be acquired in any other state. The Abkhaz people should live in a strong country. We need to discuss issues related to Apsuara more often and this knowledge should be spread among the people. Our elders: grandfathers, fathers and mothers are the sources of this knowledge. Of course, life goes on and we have to progress.

I would like to express my opinion as a lawmaker - at different times, we were passing different laws. Not so long ago, we passed the Law on demographics, protection and support of maternal health. This issue has raised many discussions in society. There are cases when the law impedes the case, and sometimes, it helps. Even if there are shortcomings, all together we can solve many issues, but they have to be previously explored.  I don’t know any person who is not interested in the issues related to demography.

Indeed, throughout its history, our people have repeatedly demonstrated their greatness, and the proof for that are our: statehood, freedom and recognition of our independence.

The International Fund “Apsny” has held the round table covering the topic: “Traditions and customs in contemporaneity”
