Russia celebrates Day of Unity

The staff of the “International Fund Apsny” congratulates all Russians on National Unity Day.

This is an important holiday in the history of Russia, the day when in 1612 a militia led by Land Lord Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders. Having expelled the enemies from the capital, Russia began the reckoning of the formation of a new state, led by an elected king from the Romanov dynasty.
