Statement of “International Fund Apsny” over the assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey

We are terribly shaken by the brutal, cold-blooded assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei G. Karlov in Ankara.

Such brutality shouldn’t go unpunished, and those who managed the murderer must be punished.

It is obvious that the professionalism and dedication of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, who was making every effort to restore the Russian-Turkish relations, have become an obstacle to the forces interested in confrontation of both countries, who recently overcame a deep crisis in relations.

We are confident that Russia and Turkey will be able to investigate this despicable attack through joint efforts, and the tragedy will make two nations even closer.

The public organization "International Fund Apsny" expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Andrei G Karlov.
